Odessa is one of the youngest cities in Europe, with a history of just over two centuries. But the literary history of Odessa is rich and turbulent, and it began almost from the first days of the city’s founding.
You can get acquainted with it in detail in the halls of our museum on the tour “Literary Odessa of the XIX century”: from the first mentions of Odessa – to the first Odessa writers, from the appearance of the first manuscripts – to the heyday of Odessa journalism and printing at the end of the century. “Literary Odessa of the XIX century”.
